KANDE BEACH RESORT ON LAKE MALAWI IS FOR SALE

Kande beach was built 26 years ago and has since become one of southern Africa's best known resorts. It lies on a 16km stretch of white fine sand at the widest point of the lake. Adjacent to the lodge and 800 meters off shore lies kande island a small granite rock island with vegetation and plenty of sheltered places to snorkel and dive to see the many indigenous species of the rare chichilids (tropical fish) or jump off the high rocks into the clear blue waters of lake Malawi, Africa's third largest and the worlds third deepest fresh water lake.

The lodge and camp-site consists of large camping areas to accommodate tour groups, private sheltered camping sites for independent back packers, 30 rooms of varying standards, from dorms and cabins to en suites and family cottages. Ablution blocks with hot showers and toilets, barbecue areas for cooking and all the facilities required for comfortable camping and accommodation. A fully kitted out work shop for both carpentry and vehicle maintenance. A 40 seater restaurant a sheltered bar area a games room and two managers houses, owners house and lots of store rooms reception rooms and out buildings.

The lodge is well established and well supported by some of the leading over land and safari companies and has a good will built up from over 25 years in the Africa travel and tourism industry.

On site there's a registered PADI dive school a water sports centre and a host of activities and organized tours available for guests. The land is secured on a 90 years lease hold, of which 74 years remaining. Kande beach resort is a limited company and has all the necessary licenses and insurances in place.

The lodge is to be sold with all the necessary furnishings equipment, stock and future bookings included. The owner is available to assist the new buyer with all the required permits and immigration papers to facilitate a smooth transition and some form of back up after the sale.
